Shane Kislack is an award-winning photographer and director, specializing in commercial and editorial photography with a focus on capturing people. Having assisted many well known photographers in multiple genres including architecture, food, interiors, fashion, product and many others, Shane has built up a skillset that he uses to utilize all points that make a great photograph.

Shane went to film school, so you’ll often notice the background is often a character in itself and cinematic in style. He loves mixing ambient and artificial lighting to create realistic photographs. Working under many different kinds of photographers for 5 years, he learned different lighting styles and composition. Working for an architecture/interiors photographer taught him how to create a composition with geometric or interesting properties including a subject. He loves collaborating with individuals and agencies to translate their vision into a photograph.
